This is a older image I did while creating 2 DVDs for Gnomon.
While the first DVD is almost done I decided I wasn't happy with the result. I will give it another try in the near future!

Im happy with the image and the model though so I thought I post it here.
You can buy the whole scene/model with textures etc over at http://gnomonology.com/tutorial/263. You can also see more views of the model as well as some wireframes there.

With the new Hulk movie coming out I wanted to do my own version of the Hulk. It proved to be pretty hard to model something with that much mass and still keep him looking human.
That said, I had great fun making him!
Its inspired from a concept sketch of a lion head I once saw, sadly I havent been able to find the image after that but I had this image in my head since.

Base cage modeled in 3dsmax, detailed in Mudbox, textures made in Photoshop and then rendered with mentalray.

Hope you like it,

Luna Critter, Jonas (3D)

This image is a bit different than what I usually do but it's been such a long time since I post something it will have to do.
The design is a lot simpler and more cartony. It's for a personal project of mine and the design will probably change slightly in the future...
I've used Zbrush to model some of the smaller details on the skin, however you can hardly see it unless you are really close.
Other than that it's the same procedure as for all my newer models: a very clean lowpoly mesh that gets displaced at rendertime. So much easier to setup and animate!
Hope you like it!

Hello,
Here is my submission to the Exotique book from Ballistic.
It's a character Im doing for a longer animation and this is a frame from the longer animation that I just turned into this image.
Model done in XSI and then the some finer details and definition was added in Zbrush.
Textures was made using Zbrush and Photoshop and Final shading and rendering was done in 3dsmax.

Female Face Study

Started out as a simple head study, both for technical and artistic purposes.
It was such a long time since I modeled a female face from scratch and I wanted to give it a go again.
I had a lot of problems deciding what image to do with it, and even though I had some crazy, ambitious plans for a while this is how it ended up...
Modeling in 3dsmax, Low and high-poly sculpting in zbrush, textures in Photoshop and rendered in mentalray.
