Old model I decided to texture and render.
The base model is built in 3dsmax and then detailed and textured in Mudbox.
Some additional texture work was done in Photoshop and the final image was then rendered in one beauty pass using mentalray.
The lighting is a simple 3 light setup using large area lights with a pretty dark environment map and some final gather.
